The Macula Society is honored to invite you to its 50th Anniversary Meeting and Special Anniversary Celebration, June 9-12, 2027, at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France. This milestone meeting will take place at the site of the first International Macula Society Meeting. The 2027 meeting and all social events will take place at The Carlton Hotel. The Macula Society will have a room block at the Carlton Hotel, JW Marriott, and other hotels with varying room rates, all within walking distance to The Carlton. The hotel booking links and details will be emailed to you after you register for the 50th Anniversary meeting. In addition to the Scientific Program, there will be a special Côte d’Azur Beach Welcome Reception, an elegant Awards Dinner, and a special 50th Anniversary celebration with dessert, DJ, and dancing immediately following the awards dinner for ALL registered guests. Exciting afternoon excursions along the French Riviera will be available to all registered attendees.Members may invite 1 co-author from their accepted presentation to attend the 50th Anniversary Meeting. This is a more exclusive meeting, so only 1 co-author from those listed under your submitted abstract can be designated as a co-author guest attendee. The co-author guest will then receive a link to complete and pay for themselves. No one can attend any breakfasts, breaks, lunches, or dinners without having a paid meeting registration badge. Due to the nature of this meeting, this does also include children. There is no children’s fee included in hotel pricing; therefore, we cannot designate children from other family member guests. No guest can attend or sign up for any optional tours without being registered for the Macula Society meeting. Space is limited and we would like to prioritize members for this special anniversary meeting. If members register at an early bird rate and decide to add a family member guest at a later date, the guest will have to pay the current post-early bird rate associated with the date he/she registers. Due to the more intimate size of the meeting, we will not be offering individual welcome dinner or awards dinner tickets. Only Macula Society members and their family member guests may attend the awards dinner on Friday evening; it will not be open to corporate sponsors this year.We look forward to being able to share this exceptional experience with the membership as a thank you to all of you for your contributions to The Macula Society.
