The Macula Society is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, offering a modernized, mobile-friendly experience for members and visitors alike. Built on the WordPress platform, the new site allows for more frequent updates to news, announcements, and articles—without requiring homepage modifications—ensuring timely communication and engagement.
Designed with responsive layout principles, the new site significantly improves usability across devices, delivering a seamless experience whether viewed on desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
A key feature of the launch is a secure integration developed in partnership with X-CD Technologies, which enables Members-Only access to essential functions such as Award Nominations, Abstract Submissions, and Dues Payments. This enhancement supports privacy, efficiency, and convenience for all members.

The new site also introduces a revised navigation taxonomy to improve content organization and future scalability. Members may notice that some sections have moved, including a dedicated Annual Meeting area and a special tab highlighting preparations for the 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting in Cannes, France in 2027.
