The Macula Society Diabetes Research Study Group, in partnership with the Mary Tyler Moore Vision Initiative, proudly presents an educational program focused on advancing our understanding of Diabetic Retinal Disease (DRD).
This program, Retinal Ischemia and Functional Relationships in DRD: Disentangling Ischemia and Neurodegeneration, brings together leading experts to explore the complex interplay between vascular insufficiency and neurodegenerative changes in diabetic retinal disease. Through cutting-edge research and clinical insights, the session aims to clarify disease mechanisms that impact visual function and to inform future therapeutic strategies.
This program is made possible through the generous support of Boehringer Ingelheim and Topcon, whose commitment to innovation continues to advance research and education in retinal disease.
